City and Man

City and Man: what authors from all around the world participating in the İTEF – İstanbul Tanpınar Literature Festival, held for the second time in 2010, wrote for the Festival.

Inspired by Tanpınar, the theme of the city, time, and man is being discussed. The variety in the languages and the geographies of the authors reflect the richness of the texts making up the book in terms of their genres and styles. Ranging from travel writing to literary criticism, from visual poetry to essays, studying its subject in all its aspects, City and Man is the first of the the thematic books of İTEF – İstanbul Tanpınar Literature Festival.
